Greetings from MISA admin team,
It has been a couple of weeks since the second term commenced, and there are a couple of things that we would like to bring to your kind notice.
- December Holidays
The school will be closed for twelve days – from Dec 24, 2021 to January 4 2022. We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year in advance.
The school library will be open these days, and for those who would like to spend their time reading are permitted to borrow books from the library. Please kindly contact the school office if you would like to check out books from the library.
- A Day at School Programme
It has been more than one-and-a-half years since the school campus was closed for traditional, face-to-face learning and the schooling has been shifted to online learning since then. There are many benefits of learning via online; and the use of technology has been and will continue to be an integral part of the learning process. However, we also realise that there is one area that we need to further improve on, which is in fact a crucial aspect of learning – the close bond among themselves and between them and the school. We have been occasionally hearing from our students how they miss the school days and how they wish they could come to school.
In order to make this happen, we have planned to organise ‘A Day at School’ activity throughout December. A small number of classes will be invited to school each day, and students will be able to spend one school day at school – meeting their classmates and teachers in person, taking some classes inside the classrooms, making use of the school’s playground, and taking part in PE activities. The school will be taking strict social distancing and other necessary measures to ensure the safety of everyone.
Participation in this activity is by no means compulsory and students can still opt for online learning mode; but we believe that this will be very beneficial for them. We therefore strongly encourage that you please send your child to school for one day scheduled during this month. Their homeroom and assistant teachers, and the school office, will contact you with the detailed schedules.
- Term 1 Report Cards
Term 1 report cards can be collected at the MISA office during the working hours (9:00 am to 3:30pm).
Cambridge Examinations
For the past two years, checkpoint examinations did not take place due to the widespread of COVID-19. For the 2022 May/ June series, if the situation is stable, we plan to offer those CheckPoint examinations. Also, we do hope that our students will be able to take official Cambridge IGCSE, As and A Levels examinations under the conventional exam condition.
Examination registration period is from January to early February. We will keep you updated regarding this. Year 6, Year 9, Year11, Year 12 and Year 13 students are expected to take Cambridge International examinations in April, May and June 2022.
- English Week
We are celebrating English week between the 13th – 17th of December with lots of fun activities. It is a time for our students to showcase their language skills and win prizes. The activities will be conducted in the 5th period, from 12:50 PM to 1:30 PM. Respective English teachers will share links, and although participation is not compulsory, we strongly encourage that your children take part in the activities.
- Payment
For those making the school fee payment on the installment basis, the payment period is from December 7, 2021 until Dec 18, 2021. Please kindly contact our finance department at 09755838633.

A Day at School Programme

ပထမနှစ်ဝက် Report cards ပညာရည် တိုးတက်မှု မှတ်တမ်း
ပထမနှစ်ဝက်၏ Report card များကို ကျောင်းရုံးခန်းတွင် (မနက် ၉နာရီ မှ ညနေ ၃း၃ဝနာရီ) ရုံးချိန်အတွင်း လာရောက် ထုတ်ယူနိုင်ပါသည်။
Cambridge စာမေးပွဲများ
လွန်ခဲ့သော နှစ်နှစ် အတွင်း Checkpoint စာမေးပွဲများကို COVID-19 ပျံ့နှံ့မှုကြောင့် မဖြေဆိုနိုင်ခဲ့ပါ။ 2022 မေလ/ဇွန်လ အတွက် ဆင်ပြေပါက Checkpoint ကို ဖြေဆိုနိုင်ရန် စီစဉ်ထားလျက်ရှိပါသည်။ Cambridge IGCSE, AS နှင့် A Levels စာမေးပွဲများလည်း ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ ကျောင်းသားများအနေဖြင့် သမာရိုးကျ စာမေးပွဲဖြေဆိုမည့် အခြေအနေအတိုင်း ဖြေဆိုနိုင်ဖို့ရန် အတွက် မျှော်လင့်ပါသည်။

နေ့လည် ၁၂း၅၀ မှ ၁း၃၀ အတွင်း ပြိုင်ပွဲများ စီစဉ်ထားပါသည်။ သက်ဆိုင်ရာ အင်္ဂလိပ်ဘာသာစကား ဆရာများက မည်သည့် link မှ ဝင်ရမည် ဆိုသည်ကို ပြောပေးပါလိမ့်မည်။ အဆိုပါအစီအစဉ်အား မပါမနေရ သတ်မှတ် မထားသော်လည်း ကျောင်းသားများ ပါဝင် ယှဉ်ပြိုင်ကြစေရန် အထူးတိုက်တွန်းလိုပါသည်။

Installment Base နှင့် ကျောင်းလခ ပေးသွင်းထားသူများအတွက် တတိယအကြိမ်ငွေပေးသွင်းရမည့် အချိန်ကာလသည် ဒီဇင်ဘာလ ၇ရက်နေ့ မှ ဒီဇင်ဘာလ ၁၈ရက် နေ့အထိ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ကျေးဇူးပြုပြီး ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ ငွေစာရင်းဌါန (၀၉-၇၅၅၈၃၈၆၃၃) တွင် ဆက်သွယ်ပေးပါရန် မေတ္တာရပ်ခံပါသည်။
