First of all, we want to wish a happy and peaceful Thadingyut to all families celebrating this special occasion.
We have now reached the end of the first semester and, even though it has been challenging, we are happy to say that students are making real and measurable progress. There will be no classes this week, and the second semester will begin on Tuesday, November 3.
After collecting feedback from students, teachers and parents we have decided to update the school timetable. This will take effect from the first day of the second semester. The biggest change is that we have now included optional classes in the afternoons, meaning that students can rest of they need to.
For the second semester we have a series of special events and competitions lined up. In October, the English department will choose winners for the Halloween Spooky Story Competition. In November, there will be an online Art Exhibition and an “I miss my school” creative arts competition. In December, our Talent Show will return, and Mathemania will also take place. For the new year, there will be many other events for students to participate in. There will also be regular awards for students who use Reading Eggs and Mathletics frequently.
We ask parents to remind their children to regularly check their school emails, as this is where we will send the new timetable and other updates.
As always, please stay safe and send us any feedback you may have.
