Warm greetings from MISA.
End of the School Year
The school year has almost ended, and I would like to say how proud I am of students, their parents, and also the teaching and support staff for how they have handled and overcome this very difficult year. Everybody has shown great resilience and ingenuity and I feel that this experience has made us stronger and ready for anything.
Helping Students
During this difficult time, we encourage parents to let their children express their feelings as they live through an important moment in history. For instance, they can keep a written or a video diary. This will give them something valuable to look back on in a few years, and help them deal with negative feelings, as they may become scared or insecure hear when they overhear bad things being spoken about.
You can also reassure students that they are safe and have a bright future. Focus on success, and on achieving a good qualification, so that they can go on to study at the best universities in the world in their later lives. With a good education they can then help this country move forward peacefully.
Further Support
We will provide assistance to KG students in various ways over the summer months, whether they have attended this school year or not. As many of our teachers will remain in Mandalay during April and May, we can help them catch up or retain their numeracy and literacy skills.
Next School Year
At MISA, the next school year will begin a little later than usual, on June 28, 2021. We do not foresee any great changes in the faculty, and most teachers are already contracted for a further year, meaning we can continue the Cambridge programme smoothly and without further interruptions. School fees have been reduced for year 2, and enrolment is now open, with discounts during March and April. Please contact our school office for more info.
Last but not least, I would like to personally express my gratitude to all parents for your support over the last nine months. It has been an incredible effort from your side, and we cannot put into words how much we admire your perseverance and dedication for the sake of your children.
It has been a remarkable and turbulent year, and we can take some positives from the double-edged crisis that has befallen us. Students have learnt new skills that will serve them well in their future lives. They have experienced what it is like to work with computers and to be more independent and resilient. We have solved problems together through engagement, innovation, and responsibility, which are three of the central Cambridge learner attributes.
That is why we should not be downhearted. Instead, we should look to the future, our children, and do our part to help Myanmar by helping them. In time, we will return to some kind of normality and continue on our path.
It is important that the MISA/MIK community stays together, for the school to continue functioning and for students to receive an international education. The school relies on you, and we must continue our mission to provide quality education to Myanmar people.

စာသင်နှစ်တစ်နှစ်ကုန်ဆုံးခါနီးပြီ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ကျွန်တော်အနေနဲ့ အခက်ခဲများစွာရှိခဲ့တဲ့ စာသင်နှစ်ကို အကောင်းဆုံးဖြတ်သန်းနိုင်ခဲ့တဲ့ ကျွန်တော်တို့ရဲ့ ကျောင်းသားကျောင်းသူများ၊ သူတို့ရဲ့မိဘများ၊ ဆရာ၊ ဆရာမများနှင့် ပံ့ပိုးကူညီပေးခဲ့ကြသော ဝန်ထမ်းများအားလုံးအတွက် အလွန်ဂုဏ်ယူမိပါတယ်။
လူတိုင်း ကြံ့ကြံ့ခံပြီး အကောင်းဆုံးနည်းလမ်းကို ပြသခဲ့တဲ့အတွက် ဤအတွေ့အကြုံဟာ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အား ပိုမိုကောင်းမွန်သော အရာများအတွက် အဆင်သင့်ဖြစ်စေဖို့ ပြင်ဆင်ပေးတယ်လို့ ခံယူပါတယ်။
ကျောင်းသားများကိုကူညီခြင်း
ဒီလို ခက်ခဲလှတဲ့အချိန်ကာလအတွင်း သမိုင်းတွင်လောက်အောင် အရေးကြီးသော အခိုက်အတန့်ကိုနေ့တဓူဝဖြတ်သန်းနေရတာ ဖြစ်တဲ့အလျောက် မိဘများအနေနဲ့ကလေးများ၏ခံစားချက်များကို တနည်းနည်းနဲ့ထုတ်ဖော်ပြသဖို့ရန် တိုက်တွန်းစေလိုပါတယ်။ ဥပမာအားဖြင့် သူတို့ရဲ့ခံစားချက်များကို စာရေးပြီး သို့မဟုတ် ဗွီဒီယိုမှတ်တမ်းမှတ်တမ်းတင်တာ စတာတွေကို သိမ်းဆည်းထားနိုင်ပါတယ်။ ဒီလို လုပ်ပေးခြင်းအားဖြင့် သူတို့ နောင် နှစ်အနည်းငယ်အကြာမှာ ပြန်ပြောင်းကြည့်ရှုရန် တန်ဖိုးရှိတဲ့ မှတ်တမ်းမှတ်ရာ ကျန်ခဲ့မှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒါ့အပြင် သူတို့ အနေနဲ့ မကောင်းသော အကြောင်းအရာများကို ကြားရတဲ့အတွက် ကြုံရနိုင်တဲ့ ကြောက်ရွံ့စိတ်၊ မလုံမခြုံစိတ် စတဲ့ စိတ်ခံစားမှုများ ခံစားရပါက ကိုင်တွယ်ဖြေရှင်းနိုင်ရန် ကူညီပေးမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ သူတို့အတွက် လုံခြုံမှုရှိပြီး တောက်ပတဲ့အနာဂတ် ရှိတဲ့အကြောင်းကိုလည်း ပြောပြစေလိုပါတယ်။ အနာဂတ်မှာ ကမ္ဘာ့အကောင်းဆုံးတက္ကသိုလ်များမှာ ဆက်လက်ပညာသင်ကြားနိုင်စေဖို့အတွက် အောင်မြင်အောင် အာရုံစိုက်လုပ်ဖို့ တိုက်တွန်းပေးပါ။ ပညာရေးအခြေခံကောင်းမှသာ တိုင်းပြည်ငြိမ်းငြိမ်းချမ်းချမ်းနဲ့ ရှေဆက်တိုးတက်နိုင်ဖို့ သူတို့ ကူညီနိုင်မှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
ပံ့ပိုးမှု
KGကျောင်းသူ/သားများ လက်ရှိပညာသင်နှစ် တက်ရောက်သည်ဖြစ်စေ၊ မတက်ရောက်သည်ဖြစ်စေလာမယ့် နွေရာသီကာလမှာ နည်းလမ်းအမျိုးမျိုးဖြင့် ကူညီပေးသွားမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဆရာမ အများစုက ဧပြီလနှင့် မေလများအတွင်း မန္တလေးမှာပဲ ဆက်ရှိနေကြမှာ ဖြစ်တာကြောင့် ကျောင်းသား၊ ကျောင်းသူများအား အတွက်အချက်နှင့် စာပေစွမ်းရည် တိုးတက်လာစေရန် ဆက်လက် ပံ့ပိုးကူညီပေးနိုင်မည်ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
လာမည့် ပညာသင်နှစ်
MISA ရဲ့ လာမယ့်စာသင်နှစ်ကို ပုံမှန်ထက်အနည်းငယ်နောက်ကျပြီး ၂၀၂၁၊ ဇွန် ၂၈ ရက်မှာ စတင်ဖွင့်လှစ်မှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ကျွန်တော်တို့အနေနဲ့ ဆရာ၊ ဆရာမ အပြောင်းအလဲများကို ကြိုတင်မသိနိုင်သော်လည်း ဆရာ၊ ဆရာမ အများစုနဲ့ လာမယ့် စာသင်နှစ်အတွက် စာချုပ်ချုပ်ထားပြီးဖြစ်တာကြောင့် Cambridge သင်ရိုးကို အဟန့်အတားမရှိ ချောချောမွေ့မွေ့သင်ကြားပေးနိုင်မည်ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Year 2 အတန်းအတွက် ကျောင်းလခကို လျော့ထားပြီး မတ်လနှင့် ဧပြီလအတွင်း discount အစီအစဉ်များနှင့်အတူ ကျောင်းအပ်လက်ခံနေပြီဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ အသေးစိတ် သိရှိလိုပါက ကျွန်တော်တို့ရဲ့ ကျောင်းရုံးခန်းသို့ ဆက်သွယ်နိုင်ပါတယ်။
နောက်ဆုံးအနေဖြင့်နောက်ဆုံးကိုးလတာကာလအတွင်း မိဘများ၏ ပံ့ပိုးမှုများအတွက် ကျေးဇူးတင်ကြောင်း ကျွန်တော်ပြောလိုပါတယ်။ မိဘများဘက်မှ မယုံနိုင်လောက်တဲ့ အားထုတ်မှုတစ်ခုဖြစ်ပြီး မိမိတို့ကလေးများ၏ အကျိုးအတွက် ဇွဲရှိရှိပေးဆပ်ခဲ့ခြင်းကြောင့် မည်မျှလေးစားကြောင်းစကားလုံးများဖြင့်မဖော်ပြနိုင်ပါ။ ဒီစာသင်နှစ်သည် မှတ်မှတ်ရရဖြစ်ရလောက်အောင် အခက်အခဲများနှင့် ကြုံတွေ့ခဲ့ရတဲ့နှစ်ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ကျွန်တော်တို့ ကြုံတွေ့ခဲ့ရတဲ့ အခက်အခဲများမှလည်း သင်ခန်းစာကောင်း အတွေ့အကြုံကောင်းတွေလည်း ရယူနိုင်ပါတယ်။ ကျောင်းသားတွေအနေနဲ့ သူတို့ အနာဂတ်မှာ ကောင်းကောင်း အသုံးချနိုင်မည့် စွမ်းရည်အသစ်များကို သင်ယူခဲ့ကြနိုင်ပါတယ်။ သူတို့တွေ ကွန်ပြူတာများနဲ့ အလုပ်လုပ်ရတဲ့ အတွေ့အကြုံကို ရရှိခဲ့တဲ့အပြင် မိမိကိုယ်ကိုယ်အားကိုးပြီး ကြံ့ကြံ့ခိုင်နိုင်စွမ်းလည်း လက်တွေ့သင်ယူခဲ့ကြပြီးဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Cambridge ကျောင်းသူကျောင်းသားများမှာ ရှိရမည့် အဓိကအချက်သုံးချက်ဖြစ်သော အာရုံစူးစိုက်လုပ်ဆောင်မှု၊ ဆန်းသစ်တီထွင်မှု နှင့် တာဝန်ယူမှုများမှတစ်ဆင့် ပြဿနာများကို အတူတကွဖြေရှင်းပြီးဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
ဒါကြောင့် ကျွန်တော်တို့စိတ်ဓာတ်ကျမနေသင့်ပါ။ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အနေနဲ့လာမည့်အနာဂတ်နှင့် ကျွန်တော်တို့၏ ကလေးများကို ရှေ့ရှု၍ သူတို့အားကူညီရင်း မြန်မာနိုင်ငံကိုကူညီနိုင်ရန် ကျွန်တော်တို့ လုပ်ဆောင်သင့်သည် များကို ဆက်လက်ဆောင်ရွက်ရမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ အချိန်တန်သော် ကျွန်တော်တို့သည်ပုံမှန်အခြေအနေတစ်ခုသို့ပြန်ရောက်သွားပြီး ကျွန်တော်တို့လျှောက်လှမ်းရမည့် လမ်းကြောင်းအတိုင်းဆက်သွားပါရမှာပါ။
